Counselling

This is a free service for young people aged 11 to 24, who are registered with a Stockport GP, who may be struggling with difficult feelings such as depression, anxiety or anger, or have problems at home, school, college or work.

Central Youth Counselling could help with the following:

  • Having problems at home, work, college, uni
  • Feeling depressed, anxious, panicky, angry or lonely
  • Want to talk to someone who will listen to you with respect
  • An opportunity to explore your feelings and relationships

Counselling is:

  • Confidential
  • Free
  • Respectful

Counselling is not:

  • Telling you what to do
  • Only offering sympathy
  • Chatting

Our counsellors are qualified and experienced or supervised students. You will have an assessment first to make sure counselling is right for you.

If you are still unsure then just drop in or call us and we can answer any queries you may have.
